PrepperPetSupply publishes health information to help owners make good decisions, not to push a sale. Here is how our content is made and checked.

Veterinary review

Every clinical guide and product page is reviewed for accuracy by a licensed veterinarian with expertise in that species. A page is only marked “Medically reviewed by” a veterinarian after that review is complete; until then it is marked pending. Our reviewers are named, with credentials, on our Veterinary Review Board.

Sources

Our guides draw on established veterinary and scientific references and cite them where claims are made. We prefer primary and authoritative sources over opinion.

Honesty

We tell you when a problem is not an antibiotic case, when a cheaper or non-drug approach is right, and when the correct step is to see a veterinarian in person, even though we are a pharmacy. We do not fabricate reviews, ratings, or citations.
